The 4 main festive celebrations that we have are Moon Festival, Halloween, Christmas and Tet. Children learn about the traditions of each festival. They experience the activities associated with each festive such as “Treat or Trick” for Halloween and “Lion Dance” for Tet. They enjoy the festive food such as mooncake for moon festival. The listen to festive related stories such as “Santa Claus and his reindeers” of Christmas. This early experience expands their understanding and thus tolerance towards different cultures.
